Stop and Dine at Pit Stop Food Park

With a growing number of food parks showing up in Metro Manila and nearby cities and provinces, one in Quezon City officially relaunched last August 12 and hosted by an American journalist, James Deakin.

Pit Stop Food Park is the first themed food park in Quezon City that let customers experience the thrills of hi-speed motoring and unique food choices and is becoming a food hang-out for the people of Quezon City, Novaliches, Fairview, and Marikina.

With a total of 24 food stalls ranging from dim sum, nitrogen based desserts, appetizers, steaks, fruit juices and a lot more, surely will satisfy all hungry tummies who will visit the park.

The relaunch invited a number of bloggers and media to get to know all the food stalls while hanging out with each and everyone. Each attendee also gets to experience and taste all the food available in the food park, and participate in a small game organized by the staff.

In this blog post, I will share with you guys how the event went, my food favorites, and review of the food park. I will only be able to share some of the details that my brain can remember since my mind was occupied by the number of food that I can consume while I was at the food park. I am sorry.

Get ready for photos to load below.

This is me with my two workmates, Angel and Abi. We went to Quezon City after a work night.

How to Get There

Pit Stop Food Park is located at Congressional Avenue Extension, Tandang Sora, Quezon City 1108. To be honest guys, I don't know how to get there by public transportation since we went there by private car. You may want to ask your north buddies on how to get here. However, I have found this on PSST! PH:

  1. There are jeepneys which ply the Congressional via Luzon Avenue and Munoz market.
  2. Electric jeepneys from SM North to Katipunan via Congressional Avenue.

Parking and Security

A parking space is available to customers who would like to dine in front of the food park and a lot beside it. I think the parking space can accommodate an estimated number of 20 regular cars.

What's good about the food park is that they have their own security guard. So you guys will feel safe and worry-free from thieves while enjoying the company of your family and friends while inside the food park.

Food Favorites

Bite-sized tacos

I am a fan of Mexican food and these little tacos are so cute and appealing to the eyes. A single serving costs P70 and consists of six pieces, while a double serving has 12 pieces and is P120. (I'm great in Math, jsyk.)  I was advised by the lady staff to take the whole piece in my mouth in order to enjoy it, and I did.

Unlimited Tempura

If you love tempura, their unlimited tempura is best for you. To avail this, you need to buy Kublai Khan rice for Php 50 and unlimited tempura for Php 199, that's a total of 249.

Nitrogen-based Cheese Balls

I wasn't able to try this but it just looks so delicious. You have to dip the cheese ball into the artist palette to give them colors. Chinder's also has different cakes to choose from.

Qrazy Quesadilla with carne

I could say that they make great Mexican food. We get to try their Nachos and it's really tasty and colorful. Beef is flavorful and  tender.

Flavored Juices

This food park doesn't have competition when it comes to beverages. They only have one stop if you get thirsty. Whether you want to juices, cocktails, alcohol or just water, Thirsty Heroes has them all. I love their cucumber flavored-juice, btw.

Here are other mouth-watering food choices at Pit Stop Food Park.

Overall

I have tried a few food parks already but this one different because it's themed. Food and quality is above average, and prices is somewhat okay to the norm. Parking and security is pretty much standard. However, the location is something I am not cool with. I didn't see much public vehicles around the area, and it seemed like the area is accessible for private vehicles only. Idk. I will research more about it, and will update this blog.
